Currently, access to the API is provided to:

• direct advertisers registered as a legal entity;
• agencies registered as a legal entity

after the conclusion of a contract or offer.


To get access to the API, do the following:

1. Log into myTarget under the account for which you need the access.
2. Go to the Profile tab → API Access. Fill in the contact details of the responsible person and click "Request access". Fill in the contact details correctly — they are not subject to further changes.
   After that, the client_id and client_secret pair will appear in the table. You can use them to get an access token — follow the instructions.

For security, client_secret is displayed in a hidden form and its copying is only available for 10 minutes — the timer is displayed in a yellow bar.

At the end of 10 minutes, you will not be able to copy client_secret. If you didn't copy client_secret, contact technical support (question mark on the right side of the page or ads_api@vk.team).

To get access to the testing environment (sandbox), do the following:

1. Register/log into https://target-sandbox.my.com/ under the account for which you need the access.
2. Submit an API access request using the support contact form. In the "Message" field of the form, specify that you need access to the testing environment to debug your application and provide the same information as for the production environment.

Access to the testing environment can be provided to the individuals as well as to legal entities.
